The Novomedia Association is the all-Ukrainian non-governmental journalistic organization. It was founded in 2004 on the initiative of journalist Ruslan Kukharchuk. The Association unites Christian journalists and other creative stuff of different media in two common ways: spiritual unity and professional interests.
For today, Novomedia Association includes about 200 members from secular and Christian media and has representatives in the majority of regions of Ukraine. There are also members of the community in Russian Federation, USA and Canada.
Spreading the gospel and Biblical values without the tools of mass communication and the media, seems impossible nowadays. How to do it better and more effectively - was the subject of the annual "Television, radio, online mediaconference 2018”, based by the Novomedia Association (Ukraine) and MEDIAlliance International (USA).The event took place on March 22nd-24th, in the center of Kiev and gathered more than 150 Christianmedia reformers from different cities of Ukraine, as well as USA and Moldova.

Organizators are Novomedia Association (Ukraine) and MEDIAlliance International (USA).
Ruslan Kukharchuk, the president of The Journalists Association “Novomedia”, was in Sacramento, California with working visit from February 1st to 11th . The purpose of the trip is to establish business contacts and partnership with local media that works for the Slavic diaspora.
On January 31, members of The Novomedia Association and representatives of the Christian Evangelical mass media visited the Israeli Embassy in Ukraine. A meeting was held with Deputy Ambassador Emile Ben-Naftali and First Secretary and Head of the Political Department of the Reut Shapir Ben-Naftali Embassy. Earlier in December 2016, a group of Ukrainian Christian media journalists visited the Holy Land as part of the Novomedia Tour.
On November, 3-4th, the Nivki-hall in Kiev hosted over 350 journalists and media workers from all over the country. The 30 speakers from all media types joined them. This is a Novomedia Forum, a large-scale platform for professional implementation, a place of assembly of the media community based on professional standards and values.
Association "Novomedia" invites to participate in the discussion on the subject: "Hate speech: transformation of the definition and possible consequences". The event will be held on Wednesday, December 6, in Kyiv.
In the evening of November 4th, the Novomedia Awards ceremony took place in the complex Nivki-hall. Journalists and editors received awards for competent coverage of Christian values in their materials. The event gathered more than two hundred guests.
Novomedia Awards is an annual campaign to select and award the best journalists and editors for competent coverage of topics of faith, religious life, Christian, moral and family values.
Monitoring and awarding take place in two nominations: "Systematic coverage of eternal values" and "Responsible Journalism".
In October, the second Leadership Media Summit took place in the US state of Texas. The event was organized by MEDIAlliance International, headed by Dr. Ronald Harris. The Dallas Baptist University (DBU) accepted delegates.
More than 130 journalists and heads of media companies from 40 countries and all continents gathered in Jerusalem from the 15th until 18th of October for Christian Media Summit, organized at the initiative of Israel Government Media Office. It was the first time when the event of such format had taken place on the state level – in the year of the 50th anniversary of Jerusalem as a capital of modern Israel and on the eve of the 70-th anniversary of establishing of Jewish State.
