In October, the second Leadership Media Summit took place in the US state of Texas. The event was organized by MEDIAlliance International, headed by Dr. Ronald Harris. The Dallas Baptist University (DBU) accepted delegates.
Leaders and leaders of Christian media organizations from different countries flocked on the eve of the opening of the summit. On Sunday, they visited the First Baptist Dallas church, where there are more than 12,000 parishioners. An important goal of the international media was to study the experience of this community in the ministry through the tools of television, radio and printed materials. The scale was amazing: the size of multimedia studios in churches and equipment in them are superior to many national TV channels.
On Monday, October 23, the working program of the summit began and lasted until Wednesday evening, October 25. The range of topics is very broad and was not limited to media aspects only. Much has been said about leadership and management, about relations and communication, about strategy and vision. A special guest was Dr. Gary Chapman, the world-renowned author of the bestseller – Five Cases of Love.
Dr. Brent Taylor, Bob Lepine, Tom McCabe, Dr. Don McMinn, Kristin Cole, Raymond Harris also performed. And also, of course, the president of MEDIAlliance International Dr. Ron Harris and the president of DBU Dr. Adam Wright. During the practical part, the delegates of the summit got acquainted with the programs and auditoriums for training students of media specialists in DBU.
Ukraine at this event was represented by the president of Novomedia Association Ruslan Kukharchuk, the president of the CBN office in Ukraine Steve Weber, the host of Radio M Olesya Dmitrieva.
