The Novomedia Association is the all-Ukrainian non-governmental journalistic organization. It was founded in 2004 on the initiative of journalist Ruslan Kukharchuk. The Association unites Christian journalists and other creative stuff of different media in two common ways: spiritual unity and professional interests.
For today, Novomedia Association includes about 200 members from secular and Christian media and has representatives in the majority of regions of Ukraine. There are also members of the community in Russian Federation, USA and Canada.
Big spring media school “TV, Radio, Social media and PR” for churches, Christian organizations and religious media was held from March, 30th till April, 1st in Kyiv. The event was organized by two partner organizations – Novomedia Association and MEDIAlliance International. The journalists, TV workers, PR managers, bloggers, radio hosts, and press service staff participated in the school. The event caused great interest and even after the registration period ended, people still applied for it.

January 29, - the Chairman of the Novomedia Association Ruslan Kukharchuk was appointed to the Board of the Public Council at the State Committee of Television and Broadcasting of Ukraine. The decision was made based on the rating voting of the participants of the founding conference. 26 organizations (out of 37 applicants) were appointed to the Board. It is the second cadence of the Novomediaat this representative body.
They simply did their work, having added to daily information routine a little light and the true life. Their work was closely watched and defined the best ones. The Novomedia Awards 2015 was got by 8 journalists and editorships - for reporting eternal values in mass media. Traditionally the award is got by representatives of all types of media: television, radio, printed and online editions.
Association "Novomedia" brought together more than 70 colleagues for the Christian Media Weekend. Among them members of Novomedia and new face of Christian media projects from 17 cities of Ukraine.
The main purpose of the event - to communicate, learn, share experiences, to pray for the media and to have nice rest in a pine forest.
The Novomedia Association presents an updated brand of its unique fall event. Starting from 2011 the International Forum “Novomedia” has been taking place in Kyiv. It is a unique debating and educational platform for the journalists and media workers in Ukraine. Hundreds of participants and about fifty speakers are usually participating in the event.
Around 40 Christian media professionals set aside their jobs for two days to participate in the study course TV Production and Media Management taught by experienced speakers from the United States. The event was organized by NovoMedia Association jointly with MediaIliance International and took place in downtown Kyiv on May 25-26.
On May 2, 2015 the regular conference of international social organisation Novomedia Association was held in Obuhov (Kiev region) and as a result the President was elected as well as an executive board.
On December 24-29, 2014 the Novomedia team made a press tour to Israel. The group of 7 journalists visited the most famous places of the Holy Land. The main purpose of the trip was to obtain the real picture of Jesus Christ’s life and ministry in order to cover evangelical and biblical issues with a deeper understanding of the historical background.
