The Journalists Association “Novomedia” 

"The transformation of media returns the transformation of nation"

 

The Novomedia Association is the all-Ukrainian non-governmental journalistic organization. It was founded in 2004 on the initiative of journalist Ruslan Kukharchuk. The Association unites Christian journalists and other creative stuff of different media in two common ways: spiritual unity and professional interests.

For today, Novomedia  Association  includes about 200 members from secular and Christian media and has representatives in the majority of regions of Ukraine. There are also members of the community in Russian Federation, USA and Canada.

International Novomedia Forum, 2-4 of November 2012, at the Kiev Cinema House will be the time for your professional development!
Announcements published in newspapers and magazines, 20 thousands of flayers are printed out, the list of 25 speakers is approved, the video clip is prepared and International Forum "Novomedia" with the same theme "eternal values and new media" being announced on the radio stations.
There will be professionals on the Forum in different areas of expertise such as: television, radio, newspaper, magazines, web and new media projects.  This Forum will bring together religious and secular media people from different countries near around and far abroad.  New media and eternal values unite them all.
 In the program of the International Novomedia Forum will be special lectures and seminars, talk shows, film screenings, competitions with prizes, presentations, workshops and block for students. 
Media and Faith. TV and God. Newspapers and Scripture. Internet and Truth. Radio and Tradition. Social networks and Responsibility. How to integrate eternal values in the media? This will be a key issue of media debate at the Forum.
Exclusive speakers of the Forum will help beginners to accomplish rapid development in the media profession. Among them are: the hosts of TV Channel "Inter", Vladimir Andrievsky and Anastasia Daugule. They will speak in the block of TV-informational journalism. Paul Shilko who is known as a DJ Pasha and general director of  the "Gala Radio" and Natalia Katerynchuk, representative of the main director of  TVi Channel.
 And also Vladimir Zavadyuk, an editor and producer of "X-Factor", "Ukraine Got Talent”, and Vitaly Ermak, journalist of “1 +1 Channel” (investigative show). The team of the project “On the Edge” and Arthur Kocharyan, the coordinator of Microsoft school called “Innovators”.
And Elena Skachko, an editor of the magazine for woman "Edinstvennaya" and Olga Khristenko,  the head of the marketing department of "Buyer Media Group". Andrey Tkachev, representative of (UOC) preacher, TV and radio host, and Gennadiy Novikov radio host and an editor of Ukrainian weekly Christian newspaper called "Conversation." Anna and Sergey Shevchenko, leaders of press center of the Christian Church "New Generation" in Ukraine will talk about the organization of the informational center at the church.

"If the media today claim to have the status of an objective and trustworthy, it is impossible to ignore the religious aspect of an audience. Therefore, coverage of personal faith and Christianity as a whole should be for the secular and religious media as natural as the coverage of politics, economics or public social life "- said the president of the Novomedia Association Ruslan Kukharchuk.
Reminder: Last year, in November, Kiev hosted the International Novomedia Forum. About the 350 media workers, members of the media from 10 countries attended the event. The central subject of the Forum is "New Media and eternal values."
